Juan Martin - Musica Alhambra (1996)

Apart from his mastery of the flamenco guitar, Juan Martín has also been involved in experimental
and innovative projects, like his research into the Moorish origins of flamenco, or other
projects in which he has taken part with musicians like Mark Isham. He has an extensive
oeuvre, as he has recorded over ten albums, although most of them have only been released
abroad. He is also the author of several texts on the flamenco guitar (El Arte Flamenco de
la Guitarra and La Guitarra Flamenca). Among other achievements, at least one deserves a
mention: he was the first flamenco guitarist who recorded an album with the Royal Philarmonic
Orchestra.
