Celloman - Sharptown

Celloman - Sharptown

6th April 2009 will see the release of the 4th Celloman album ‘Sharptown’.
Like the studio albums preceding it, the album is a tapestry of colours that
travels through a myriad of different styles. A blend of Middle Eastern and
African rhythms, Eastern and Western classically inspired melodies, hypnotic
harmonies and driving funky Bass & Drums featuring strong vocal performances
by a variety of guest singers.
The album features the Zimbabwean Soul Star Thabani, Kenyan born Beatrice Muniu.
Sultry Soul singer Oroh Angiama, performance poet Poppy Seed, opera singer
Melinda Hughes, the calming voices of PaTala singing in Sanskrit and a great
performance by the up and coming Eliza Doolittle.
The album completes a trilogy of 3 albums that tells the story of ‘Celloman’
Ivan Hussey’s life so far.
