Bond - The Best Od Bond
Bond was formed by music producer Mike Batt, after Batt told fellow-producer Mel Bush
that the two of them should put together a quartet consisting of "four beautiful,
talented musicians".Batt went on to produce their first single, with Bush producing
their albums.[3] The quartet consists of Haylie Ecker (first violin, from Perth,
Australia), Eos Chater (second violin, from Cardiff, Wales), Tania Davis (viola, from
Sydney) and Gay-Yee Westerhoff (cello, from Hull, England).

Esperanza Spalding - Esperanza (2008)
"She's young, gorgeous and immensely talented. A superb bass player, an already highly
nuanced vocalist and a promising composer, Esperanza is a triple threat who may very well
be one of the key figures in defining the direction jazz will be heading in the 21st century."
Spalding is of African-American, Welsh and Spanish descent, and describes this has a diverse
ethnic heritage that includes "Welsh, Hispanic, and Native American roots in addition to the
unidentified roots from Africa." Her Hispanic roots trace through her mother, a native of
Southern California, who indirectly educated Spalding in Spanish by hiring a Cuban nanny.

The Ripppingtons - Modern Art
When you think about contemporary music, there are very few bands that have had the
lasting impression and impact that the Rippingtons featuring Russ Freeman have had.
For over 20 years this band has been delighting audiences all over the world with their
distinct, signature sound. Now with their 17th album, Russ Freeman has once again demons
trated why he is one of the true musical innovators in the contemporary jazz genre with
Modern Art. Featuring a familiar "cast of characters", Modern Art once again showcases
a unique musical style that was created many years ago and still sounds as fresh and
new today as it did when they started. Soaring horns, melodic keyboards and driving
percussion are all anchored by the intricate guitar styling of Freeman.
